RED

1. Characteristics

a. They connect with God primarily through the Bible.
b. Application of the Bible is critical.
c. The goal is transformation.

2. Strengths

a. Faithfulness to the Bible
b. Proclaiming the Bible.

3. Weaknesses

a. Reducing God speaking to the Bible only.
b. Too much emphasis on words.

4. Neglect

a. Listening to God in other ways.
b. Physical expressions of worship.

B. Sharing: Passing on the Grace of God

1. Characteristics

a. They connect with God as they share Christ
b. Do not compartmentalize their live into secular and sacred.
c. They are passionate about seekers.

2. Strengths

a. Always looking for ways to bridge seekers to Jesus.
b. Practice what they preach.

3. Weaknesses

a. Reduce faith to "soul-winning".
b. Overlook needs of the Church.

4. Neglect

a. Church traditions.
b. God's creation.

C. The Ascetic Style: Developing Discipline for God

1. Characteristics

a. They connect with God when they are away from worldly distractions.
b. Strong emphasis on living a holy life.
c. Less is better.

2. Strengths

a. Sacrificial living.
b. Freedom from worldly life.

3. Weaknesses

a. Negative view of the world.
b. Irrational suffering.

4. Neglect

a. Enjoying God's creation.
b. Common sense
