Two ways we can access the Holy Spirit’s power:

Inwardly (Praying for the Spirit’s power to enable us daily)

1. Strength

Philippians 4:13 (NRSV) “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”

2. Wisdom

James 1:5 (NRSV) “If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God, who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly, and it will be given to you.”

Outwardly:

1. Principles

a. Authoritative prayer combines power and compassion.

b. Authoritative prayer is a prayer of command and not request.

c. Authoritative prayer requires confident humility.

d. Authoritative prayer is the conduit of heavenly power brought to earth.

2. Practice (Be Specific)

a. I break the lies of the evil one.

b. I tear down demonic strongholds.

c. I bind and cast demonic powers released.

d. I break demonic bonds established.

e. I cancel demonic ground gained.

f. I bind spirits of fear and pride.

g. I release and claim healing.

h. I release the Spirit and angelic beings.

i. I cleanse my home and property.

j. I claim my family, church, and community for Jesus.

k. I declare the truth.
