OpenHearts_web_logo-lgWith the assistance of two trained facilitators and an emotionally safe environment, Journey groups invite people to examine life experiences that have impacted their emotional and spiritual health. Unexamined life experiences that keep us from living whole and healthy lives are trauma, neglect, betrayal, abandonment, and abuse in all its forms (emotional. physical, sexual, spousal, and spiritual).

All of these leave their imprint on our souls. This, in turn, touches our relationships at home, at work, at school, in our social and our spiritual communities. Damage has been done in relationships. Open Hearts invites people to look at the damage again, but this time in a safe, supportive community that encourages healing and promotes life-giving change.

Journey groups are rooted in Biblical principles that will bring fresh perspective and growth to those who are longing for a deeper connection with God, with others and with their own hearts.

DivorceCare-logoYou don’t have to go through it alone!

Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before.

DivorceCare meets weekly for 12 weeks to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Each DivorceCare session has two distinct elements:

A Seminar with Experts

During the first 30–40 minutes of the meeting, each DivorceCare group watches a video seminar featuring top experts on divorce and recovery subjects. These videos are produced in an interesting-to-watch television magazine format featuring expert interviews, real-life case studies and on-location video.

A Support Group with Focus

After viewing the video, DivorceCare group participants spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar and what is going on in the lives of group members.

Weekly Seminar Topics

  • What's happening to me?
  • The Road to healing/finding help
  • Facing my anger
  • Facing my depression
  • Facing my loneliness
  • What does the owner's manual say?
  • New relationships
  • Financial survival
  • KidCare
  • Single sexuality
  • Forgiveness
  • Reconciliation
  • Moving on, growing closer to God

Celebrate Recovery-logoThe purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the "8 Recovery Principles." This experience allows us to "be changed." By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power.

Our Christ-centered 12-Step Celebrate Recovery group meets on Monday nights.
